SPRING 2025 GIRLS YOUTH INFORMATION
Grizzlies offers 3rd-8th grade teams that participates in a Spring community based recreational league.
Grizzlies 3rd-8th grade teams will be play in the North East Florida Girls Youth Lacrosse League (NEFGYLL), which is being run by the First Coast Girls Lacrosse High School Coaches Association (FCGLCA).

SPRING 2025 REGISTRATION
WHEN IS SPRING SEASON?
Spring season will run from the end of January through the end of April.
FOR WHO?
Girls in grades 3rd-8th grade in and around the Bartram Trail HS zoned area. Grizzlies participates in the NEFGYLL which is a community based league with the HS coaches involved.
COACHING STAFF:
Grizzlies is ran by the former Bartram Trail HS Coaching staff from 2011-2023 (3x State Champions). We have former and current female lacrosse players coaching at each level for a quality experience. There are no parent volunteers coaching. We focus on teaching the fundamentals while having fun. T
COST:
TEAM/FIELD FORMATS:
U14: 7th-8th Grade (play 12v12, have a goalie), full checking
U12: 5th-6th Grade (play 12v12, have a goalie), modified checking
U10: 3rd-4th Grade (play 8v8 on modified field, have a goalie), no checking
*Girls divisions will be broken down by grade level and are not based on the age reference.
PRACTICE DAYS/TIME/LOCATIONS:
Practices start toward the end of January and run through April. Teams will practice twice a week. Practice times will be finalized by the end of December once teams are formed and coaching staff finalized.
*3rd-6th grade: Wednesdays 6:30-8:00pm @ Durbin Wall Ball field + Saturday late mornings (@ Swiss Point)
*7th/8th grade: Tuesday evenings 6:30-8:00pm @ Durbin Wall Ball field + Saturday afternoons (@ Swiss Point)

GAME DAYS:
Sundays @ Davis Park (Ponte Vedra)
Dates: TBA (starting mid February through end of April)
Times: between 12-5pm. U14 games are usually first at 12 or 1:15. U12 are usually 1:15 or 2:30. And U10 are usually 2:30 or 3:45.

WHAT EQUIPMENT DOES MY PLAYER NEED FOR THE SPRING 2025 SEASON?
Lacrosse stick, goggles, cleats and mouth guard (the mouth guard MUST NOT be white or clear in color and MUST NOT have a strap or tie-string).

REFUND POLICY
No refunds issued after regular registration closes, unless team is canceled due to insufficient numbers, etc., in which we will refund the registration amount. In addition, injuries are a part of all sports at any level and will not be considered as a reason for a refund.
WEATHER POLICY
All events will be conducted rain or shine. However, the decision is made by our local Parks & Recs. If they choose to close a field no matter how light or heavy we think the rain is, we will be forced to cancel practice or games. There is no make up sessions. No refunds are given due to inclement weather. Keep in mind, Parks & Recs can make a field closure decision minutes before an event. Notification will be emailed.

COST:
- New players (did NOT play in Spring 2024): $340.00, includes uniform ($65.00 fee for the jersey and skirt) and a Grizzlies dry fit t-shirt that all Spring 2024 players receive.
- Returning 2024 players with uniform: $275.00, includes dry fit t-shirt (can still purchase replacement skirt and/or jersey for $32.50 each)
- Sibling discount: $75.00 off 2nd or more child
- Payment Plan available (1/2 due upon registration submission and 1/2 due January 1)
